Thirty-ninth Bi-Annual Messiah Sing-Along

For 40 years, Dr. J. Reilly Lewis, organist and choirmaster at Clarendon United Methodist Church, has provided a bi-annual community Messiah Sing-Along at Easter and Christmas. This is believed to be one of the first and longest running Messiah-Sings presenting the complete oratorio in the DC area. Dr. Lewis leads a full orchestra, harpsichord, organ, guest soloists, and the audience in part One of George Frideric Handel's Messiah. The program begins at 7:00 p.m. with a brief pre-concert recital. There is no admission charge for the performance; however, a $20.00 donation is suggested. A reception will follow the evening's events. The church is handicapped accessible and nursery care is provided.

Clarendon United Methodist Church is located at 606 N. Irving Street, Arlington, VA 22201. A ten-minute walk from the Clarendon Metro Station. Ample parking is available.
