Handbell Choirs
Handbell Choirs are one of the diverse ways that we use music to praise God at Clarendon. These beautiful bells are fun to play and uplifting to listen to. We are privileged to own a five-octave set of Whitechapel Handbells and a three-octave set of handchimes. If you attend the 11am service you will hear hymn-tunes, classical as well as contemporary arrangements, and original compositions written exclusively for bells. All of the bell choirs contribute to these services throughout the year.
If you'd like to do more than just listen, let us know! We have bell choirs for children youth and adults. The only requirement for adults is the ability to read music. Members benefit from the warmth of friendship within the group, the challenge of making the finest music they possibly can, and most importantly the joy that comes with praising serving the Lord!
