Clarendon United Methodist Music Program
The Choirs at Clarendon
All of the choirs at Clarendon are a warm, vital part of our congregation and worship services. The Adult Choir, under the direction of Dr. J. Reilly Lewis, is an integral part of the traditional worship service at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings.
The Clarendon Praise Band, CPB, provides music for the Arise! Contemporary worship service at 8:30 on Sunday mornings. CPB's sound is a blend of traditional Methodist hymns and contemporary Christian music with a touch of the blues mixed in.
The Celebration Singers, under the direction of Lisa Gibbs-Smith, are a group of vocalists who enjoy contemporary music and need a flexible schedule. They offer their gifts during various worship services and other events within the CUMC community.
Children and Handbells
Periodically, the youth, childrens' and handbell choirs add their gifts to both of our worship services.
