Calling All Men: Inaugural Evening Gathering Jan 14th

The Murky Men will hold an evening gathering on Thursday, January 14 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the CUMC Youth Room. All CUMC men and any male guests are welcome. The MM intend to hold an evening gathering each month to allow men who cannot attend our Saturday morning gatherings an opportunity for fellowship. (The MM will continue to hold our weekly Saturday morning gatherings as well.)
The Murky Men is the CUMC Chapter of the United Methodist Men, having been duly chartered a few months ago. The MM have have a flat organizational structure — we have no officers, just informal volunteers who step in when needed. Luke 9: 46-48; Acts 2:42. Murky Men gatherings provide an opportunity for fellowship in an informal setting. We begin with prayer and music, followed by a discussion. Acts 2: 46-47.
