ALIVE in SERVICE: Kits for ConferenceSunday, May 19, 2013 - 8:30am to Saturday, June 1, 2013 - 10:30pmClarendon UMC will be preparing kits for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to be distributed to areas all over the world suffering emergencies (hurricane, flood, earthquake, etc.) During the month of May we will collect all the "ingredients" to make Health kits and School kits. We are asking you to bring in the items based on the first letter of your last name which a complete list is found here (UMW) . There will be boxes in Corry Hall for the collection. Mozart's "Coronation Mass" on Sunday, June 2nd at 11:00 am during the regular worship service. Mozart composed this mass in 1779, but not for the coronation of any particular monarch. The piece became popular in the early 19th Century for coronations and services of Thanksgiving in Vienna. The Adult Choir will be joined by an orchestra and soloists as they present this glorious gift of music. For more info click here. |

ALL CHURCH PICNICSunday, June 2, 2013 - 12:30pm to 1:30pmCome join us at our All Church Pot-Luck picnic on Sunday, June 2 at 12:30 pm. It will be held at Lyon Park (Fillmore and Pershing Drive) with food from your kitchen or the grocery. Bring in your favorite dish to share. There will be games and a kick ball game between the Sunday School teachers and students. WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDYMonday, April 22, 2013 - 7:30am to Monday, June 17, 2013 - 9:30amWomen’s Weekly Bible Study begins two different studies. The Monday morning group will begin Keeping Company with the Saints, by Maxie Dunnam starting April 29th at 10:00 am. Childcare is provided.
