You Did It! Imagine No Malaria

The Imagine No Malaria campaign surpassed its goal of 100,000 lives saved! CUMC and VA congregations like ours raised $1,005,364.30 to end malaria. Thank you all!

Womens Cookie Exchange

Friday, December 4, 2015 - 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Our annual Cookie Exhange will be this Friday night at the home of Jane Dixon. We'll have a soup, salad, and bread dinner with, of course, cookies.  Bring a batch of cookies to share and go home with a variety of tasty treats from the other bakers. Childcare on site. Contact Jane with questions.  Come for a great evening of fellowship and good food. 

Stop Hunger Now!

Saturday, December 5, 2015 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

CUMC is hosting a Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event. We will be measuring, mixing, bagging, boxing, and loading 20,000 meals consisting of rice, soy meal, dehydrated vegetables, vitamins and nutrients. SIGN UP NOW! Adult volunteers are asked to donate around $20 per person to help defray costs.

At our next Faith, Food, and Fellowship, local author Sue Eisenfeld will show slides and talk about her recent book that recounts her and her husband's exploration of the Shenandoah over many years.
